Fourth of July weekend was so perfect out, we got to fit in another day of outdoor fun.

First time hiking at the Musconetcong Gorge Preserve.
Hiking the Appalachian Trail and Iris Trail in High Point State Park.
Located in Sussex County, all the way up in the northwest corner of NJ, this park is worth a visit even without doing a hike.
Encountering a bear and her cubs cuts our Highlands Trail hike short.
Opted for a small park today due to forecasted afternoon thunderstorms, which of course never came.
Hiking to Lucy’s Overlook and the glacial erratics in Pyramid Mountain.
Hike along gurgling streams and rolling hills in a very beautiful area that is part of Morristown National Historical Park.
Hiking a High Point, Chik Falls and Otter Hole loop in Norvin Green.
