Waterfalls in NJ

Updated:

Everything you need to explore waterfalls in New Jersey.

The guides below have detailed directions on how to get to each waterfall plus lots of photos and videos.

Visit waterfalls in the spring or after a recent heavy rain for maximum water flow, or check them out after prolonged cold temperatures to possibly catch them frozen over.

Several of these require little or no hiking to visit, such as Buttermilk Falls, Hemlock Falls, Laurel Falls, and Paterson Great Falls.

Most waterfalls in the state are in north NJ, with some in central NJ.
